Allow me to introduce myself,
my name is Maren

Creative Director of Rain Crew, Arts, Refugees & Mental Health Producer at Counterpoints Arts, and Senior Creative Producer at East London Dance and

I am a dance artist turned producer, developing and delivering arts projects in partnership with artists, cultural organisations, mental health professionals and activists across the globe.

I believe that art has the power to shift social consciousness and I am dedicated to empowering communities through art, ensuring that people are not just recipients, but active participants and contributors in the process. Through collaborative art projects and programmes that focus on relationship building, I aim to strengthen the mental health and wellbeing of the communities I work with, increasing self-esteem, confidence, and a re-imagining of one’s identity. I am particularly interested in the role art can play in combatting systemic inequalities.

I use my understanding of culture, art, and societal norms to create strategies for change to enable social justice and community development. My work often involves connecting people, identifying emerging ideas, and finding ways to influence narratives and create positive social change.

I am always looking to collaborate or be inspired, please Get in touch!
